Ok, so this story is the ENTIRE reason i started this thread, I've been sitting on it for about five days, wanting to share it on the forume (anyone who's on facebook already got this, so you can just ignore this post...)

So, anyone who has seen my facebook profile picture has seen my haircut. Fluffy, dark, easily messed up, and, because I rarely comb it, in a constant state of bedhead and with a habit to stick up in funny ways. I babysit for my neighbors, and I'd fed the kids (hot dogs and potato chips). The boy, Ethan, had already cleared his plate, but I had to sit with the girl, Ciara (pronounced KEE-ra) as she finished her meal. She finally put away the last of her hot dog, and I clapped, as it's usually hard to get her to eat. Then she perked up, picked up a chip and stared at it. I stopped paying attention and busied myself eating some of the ice cream I was trying to tempt her to eat faster with.
"And now, I'll take a potato chip... and EAT IT!!"
I looked up to see this totally intense look of victory on Ciara's face as she demolished the chip in her mouth. I just looked at her for a moment, and she stared at her plate, yelling, again, "I'll take a potato chip AND EAT IT!!" then she grabbed one and crammed it in her mouth.

I swear I had a heart attack.

She's five, and has never seen Death note or had any way of hearing that quote Her mom and sister didn't know what anime/manga was until I had to explain my haircut (haircut --> cosplay --> anime) her brother is seven, and her dad is definitely not a closet otaku, or even the most casual watcher of anime/reader of manga.

I've decided to teach her to yell "I AM JUSTICE!" after she tattles and greet her every day with "there is a four percent chance that you are Kira."

THAT'S AMAZING!! XDDDD

Ahh, update on Kira - I mean, Ciara. She now successfully runs off cackling "I AM JUSTICE!!!" after tattling, and I discovered this because I thought I'd failed a to teach her to do this a couple times, but I somewhat recently overheard her mother trying to figure out why she says it. Also, my L hair needs a serious trim.

Other than that, no recent Anime references. Well, I guess the musical costumes...

Vincent's ballgown is horrible, but when it's shortened, it definitely looks like something you'd find on a sailor scout. It just needs a bow.

I guess this would fall into this topic. A few days ago I was talking to my friend and he mentioned there used to be a girl at this school that was alot like me. He listed all these freakish similarities and when I asked him more about her he said, "Don't mention them to (inserts other friends name here). They disappeared." I suddenly felt like I should be very cautious around him. I might be in my own Higurashi. o.o

In an unplanned coincedence yesterday, Vincent wore blue, Ada wore purple, and I wore red. My friend wore pink. Someone else wore yellow.
The significance? In our cosplay group, Vincent is KAITO, Ada is Gakupo, I'm MEIKO, and my friend is Luka. and the last person, whose identity I am lost on (it was YESTERDAY, and I can't remember what I had for dinner an hour and a half ago.) was rin/len/neru (one of those...)
Ask Vincent or Ada who the last person was. Anyways. It was funny.

The last person is named Ada Chessie. The real Ada. How could you forget poor Ada-neko-chan?!?!?

I wasn't sure if it was Ada, Alice, or Sora....

It was Ada-neko-chan, the great goddess of the nekomimi.
