Well I have decided to create a topic for the phenomenal saga/series by J.K Rowling! I noticed that there were a lot of Harry Potter fans on the forums, so I thought it would be nice to create a topic for the fans to discuss in. :D

Feel free to discuss about the books, films, characters, actors/actresses, J.K Rowling and other things relating to this series! If there is any news or pictures or fan works/arts you may post them here too :3. (If that's okay...)

And... not forgetting to mention, yesterday a new trailer for Deathly Hallows 2 was released:



I honestly have no words after watching that. I'm already getting a huge rush of mixed emotions, ajfhasfsafa.

IKR! There's less than 30 days to go! I'm going to be so sad when the last film is going to be released, Harry Potter is like my childhood. ):

Oh, don't worry I'll be crying oceans. I'll probably have withdrawal symptoms after watching the film, but I'm going to watch it for a few times in the cinemas. ;w;

I'm gonna cry my eyes out when I'm in the theater and the movie ends. ;A;

Mhm. One day I will go to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! But it's quite sad that it's in US rather than UK, but I think next year there's going to be a Leavesden Studios Tour in UK, so I might look into that. C:

That would be really good if it was a like a social networking site! I have a feeling it might be like an online Hogwarts, where we can actually study for O.W.Ls and N.E.W.Ts, ahaha. That would be fun. xD

The best way to have read Harry Potter was to have read it growing up alongside the character.

I didn't really know about his death either, my friends told me before but it didn't really make an impact on me, whereas when it came to his actual death I cried. I actually read the books after watching Part 1.

I read the first 2 when I was younger, and half of the third one, but I lost if for so long, then I found it again so I decided to continue reading.

My favourite movie out of them all is the 2nd one i think....The Chamber of Secrets. I've always loved that one~ I remember reading the book over and over again. heheh, i even have a lego version of the car^^'

I'll probably be crying multiple rivers to the 2nd part as well.....T____T I mean, i cried a few times during pt.1....so....;A;
For me it was also my child hood, but like everyone else, Harry Potter shall never die! 8D

Hmm....now ranting about the actors. I really do like Umbridges actor. she did a phenomenal job. And Bellatrix too. I absolutely LOATHE their characters but i truly do love their actors. In my opinion, it doesnt take much for you to like a character. But i think it takes alot more effort and skill on the actors part to make you hate their character.

Lol yes! When I first found out there wasn't a Harry Potter thread I was like, "WHEREFORE ART THOU THREAD?!" xD But since the trailer for DH2 was out, I thought it'd be an appropriate time to create a topic for all the excitment and build up for the last film. :3

That film is scary.... LOL. I still get scared by it.

My favourite film will always be Philosopher's Stone! It brings back so many memories and I always get really emotional whilst watching it. It was the first film that I cried over. The ending always got to me when Hagrid gave Harry the photoalbum. xD

Mhm. I'm looking forward to the "Sorting Hat". I want to know what house I'm actually in, even though I take numerous sorting hat tests online, I always get different results. But now that J.K Rowling actually created a Sorting Hat, I can now determine which house I'm in! 8D

Anyway, only 5 more days!!! So excitedddd! I'm going to go to my very first midnight premiere. Since this is the last movie and I won't have a good excuse to do so at any other time, I'm gonna cosplay as Harry. I already have the glasses, tie, shirt, and pants (just gotta find a sweater...in the summer) and my friend is gonna let me borrow her wig for it. 8D I might have a Ron or Draco with me so I don't look like a total geek by myself.
