Hetalia XD

Holy crap!! How come all the cool stuff happens while I'm on vacation?!! O.O

I like all the voices so far (especially England's British accent <333 *melts* ) , but I don't really like China's voice. It's gonna take some getting used to since he doesn't sound like a girlie anymore. D;

It kinda sucks that we didn't get to hear Greece since all he was doing in that clip was sleeping. Belarus didn't speak and neither did Lithuania and Finland. XD I'm also bummed out because we didn't get to hear Italy yell 'PASTAAAAAAA!' at the end. I was waiting for it ever so anxiously and it just cut off. The suspense is killing me!

Also, good news! Apparently next week according to Funi's Hetalia manager's Twitter update, they're going to show more (hopefully clear sounding) dub clips next week! <3

LAWL I don't mind China's voice. But I will admit it will take some time getting used to him actually sounding his gender. xDDD

But overall the voice does suit China's character.

I hope they add in China's aru's in the dub. Something tells me they won't though. D:

I ...actually I'm divided. On the whole "aru" thing.

It doesn't seem that hard to purnounce, but if it is they might take it out. However if "aru" has some sort of english translation they might also say that instead.

@Gil-

I think aru means 'it is' or something like that. Kinda like desu. It would sound a little weird having him say 'it is' instead of 'aru', so I have no idea what they're gonna do with that. XD

Funimation finally did cast announcments for the majority of the minor cast! They said for the new week they will be putting up announcment for Hetalia.

I was mistaken on the VA fro Switzerland it seems. But I'm till positive that;

Overall I'm impressed with the cast. Since I watch a lot of dubs, I know a lot of these voice actors have a wide vocal range. Therefore I'm not to worried about them.

The only ones I am worried about though are;

Vic as Greece; While I love Vic to death...I always get nervous when he plays a character with a deep voice. I'm afraid he won't sound deep enough, and Greece doesn't really have a "smooth" voice either.

Dave as Spain;I had never really heard many of his works, but when I found out pervious characters he voiced, I got worried. As you can tell in the clip I posted before. Spain now suddenly has a deeper voice. This worries me that it might be like that all the way through.

Ian as Romano; To be honest the only reason I'm worried is cuz I've only heard one of his roles. So I'm not entirely sure what sort of vocal range he has.

John as Switzerland; Seriously? Oh boy, this is similar to how I felt with Vic as Greece. But I do know John can do a higher voice when he has to. The problem is will it sound right...

Chris as Holy Roman Empire; Oh dear god... help us lord. The minute I saw that he played Gluttony in FMA and just got converted to Chibi HRE...I paniced. But thankfully I also saw that he played Babbit from Kodocha, which has a higher voice. But I'm still worried...

Chuck as Austria; Another problem with someone I'm to used to doing lower pitched voices! Gah...almost all this guys roles are lower toned characters. So this worries me. I would have put J.Micheal Tatum as Austria myself but we shall see.

Overall those are really the only voices so far I'm worried about. Can't wait to see more cast announcments!

It's because you guys are out of the zone range for it. The broatcast it in teh area its most popular with english speaking countries. Which is Canada and America.

LMAO! XD I love that clip! Both of their voices are great in my opinion. Russia's voice in very manly-ish compared to the Japanese ver. where he sounds more childish, but I kinda like it this way.

Plus I know Russians usually do have a deep voice. So this is actually closer to an actual Russia speaker. Only the accent should be slightly thicker. It's still good non-the less. xD

it might get thicker as they go. I don't know VAs (AT ALL) but his VA doesn't have a real russian accent, right?
so if he's imitating one, as it becomes more normal for him to do (and he picks it up naturally) it will get thicker as his slight russian accent imitates a russian accent.
it's the same concept as developing a natural accent in a foreign language, only without the foriegn language.

of course, he also might catch himself (or be caught by others) and wind up staying steady.
