A young girl named Kajika Burnsworth is talked into a "Marriage Game" by her father, the mighty boss of the Burnsworth Company. She will meet three men he has chosen and decide which one to marry. If she does, he will tell her what her true destiny is.

PERSONAL THOUGHTS:

I have heard so many complains about this being your typical male harem anime by other watchers. I think they are 100% WRONG!

Yes it has a few hints of the traditional, but it certianally isn't a typical harem anime. However can you honestly tell me how many male harems are centered around the entire thing starting out as a game, or even with politics as a main theme? Not many I bet. Plus the main character is a bit of a tomboy, which we don't see enough of in male harems now or days.

Plus we have a huge variety in races and countries in the anime. WE have America, France, India (I'm assuming) and possibly England.

With these facts in mind and the other smaller facts in the series, I want someone to try and prove to me that this is your "typical" male harem anime. >8D

Ok I'm going to rant about my favorites. Favorite characters, favorite pairings, blah blah....*goes on*

I also am not going to give away spoilers, just incase some people have not watched it yet, or haven't gotten very far.

My fav female character(s) is Kajika
My fav male character(s) is Lumati & Eugene
My fav pairing(s) is KajikaxLumarti & KajikaxEugene

Now Kajika is my fav girl because well....idk really I just like her. It has nothing to do with her being the main character though. Maybe part of it is because we have hardly met any other girls in the series so far?

Lumati is one of my favorite males in the show, actually he is just slightly ahead of Eugene. I personally like his personality. He comes off as a bratty kid who was raised by a rich family (oh wait he IS one! xD). But judging by where he lives and what he looks like, I think his country is based off India or something like it. Although like any anime character he has his soft side. Once he opens up to the people around him, he's quite a catch and easy to get along with, not to mention very shy. ;D

Lumarti also has these AMAZING piercing blue eyes that I totally love to death. And his tragic past/present situation leaves me wanting to huggle him to death! <333

Eugene is my other fav in the series because I also like his personality. Eugene is actually your typical bishounen. Platinum blonde hair, golden eyes, swave exterior adn all "cool" like. I was never one to fall for that type normally. But something about Eugene caught my eye....maybe it's because he's a bit of a playboy? Or the fact that he's a little naughty and perverted? XD

Plus his past is rather sad, much worse then Lumati's past, but Eugene isn't having a hard time now like Lumati is.

My fav pairing of KajikaxLumati is actually my #1 fav, however....due to certian complications with it I keep asking myself "WHY!?". However I will save that tidbit for another time. ;D

Overall KajikaxLumati is a cute pairing, they get along well despite not getting along at all at first. Unlike many couples, they can actually talk with each other without the awkwardness. Plus Kajika is a great source of comfort for Lumati when he is going threw hard times.

KajikaxEugene is my 2nd fav. If KajikaxLumati doesn't happen, then I want these two to be together.

Since Eugene is such a playboy, he thinks nothing of Kajika at first; other then another woman. But Kajika's natural soothing effect on people seems to intrege Eugene and he spends more time wit her, eventually falling for her for real. Plus Eugene's past is rather tragic adn sad, but its not somthing uncommon. However due to the fact of how long he kept it all a secret, it ate away at him for 20 years. Kajika was the one to save him from his own sorrow.

A cute added bonus for me is that Kajika called Eugene "Mustafa". Now your likely wondering why she calls him that right? Well lets just say that a dear friend that she loved who passed away, she thinks was reborn as Eugene's soul. That's all I will say. ;D

I just watched eppy 19!!!

It was all serious...but I laughed when Kaijka came back to America and basically jumped Lee-Lang and sat on him telling him to "take off his clothes" so she could "see his injury". XD

and finally Kajika and Lumarti are reunited! YAYZ! And they had a nice sweet hug/touching each other/gaze into eachothers eyes moment!!! *o* *fangirls* <333

And according to the preview...we get to see Kaijka's old man!!! Something big is goin to happen. If he's meeting up with all Kaijka' potential "husbands". XD

GAHHHH!!!! Saw 20 subbed and 21 raw!!!!

Harry (Kajika's daddy) certianly loves to confuse and tease his potential son-in-laws. XD

I feel sorry for Lee-Lang though....he loves Kajika so bad, and here he is left out of the equations becuase she only thinks of him as a brother (at least right now?).

Reguardless I'm still a LumatixKajika and EugenexKajika fangirl for life!!!

And 21 will be interesting subbed. It's everyone at a party (well except Lumati...T_T), and Kajika fails at cooking! XD

Carl is starting to grow on me now to. But he's not potential fav material yet. XD

Poor Lumati though...he's still under house arrest/lock down mode because, so he is forced to watch his own brothers correnation thingy on the tv....and he looks like he wants to die! T_T

He has like dead eyes and is all depressed....(Can't blame him...his own brother exiled him from his own country!!!! *stabs*)

I would but it sounds too shojo-ish. im not the biggest fan of shojo.....

It is a shojo series. But I don't find it as shojo as half of these others you come across. Actually right now in the plot its kinda in a semi-depressant mode. XD

OMFG I LOVED THIS EPPY!!!! not only did I get to see my 2 fav males from the show with their hair down, but Lumati went all OOC just to piss off his "love" (Kajika) and make her jealous. By kinda semi-flirting with Kajika's friend and kissing her hand and acting all sweet/royal mode!

GAH! Even if Lumati didn't do it to Kajika, I still fuckin spazzed at the scene! Lumati is all like "Happy now?" They Kajika was all...>___> "Hmph!". LAWL

Finally we get an ADORABLE/ROMANTIC LumatixKajika scene at the ending!!! All moonlit and just plain EPIC!!!! <333

I just watched it RAW. Lumati is finally fed up with the way things are being run by his bro in his country. And he's decided to stop thinking about it and moping and go do somthing about it! YAYZ!

How I have no idea since he's exiled from his country...it's gonna be hard to get back in there without having his head chopped off...=___=;;

But still! YAY! Lumati FTW!!!

Ok well I just found out that the show got a new director, and that means CHANGES.

Not many good ones I'm afraid....apparently they took over for episode 24 +.

I just saw 24 RAW...and I'm not impressed with the changes...>__>

Here's the list of changes.

1.) Character Design
2.) The Opening and Ending
3.) Additional Effects

Now lets start with character design...

- Lumti has a more serious look, and his eyes are more pointy.

- Eugene has a softer rounder face.

Those two I can live with since their design isn't to much different at the moment.

Although Lumati is like FAIL when he looks shocked now...it's all cartoony....T_T

- Carl looks like his face got blown up into a balloon...

- Lee-Leng looks like a few years got taken off his face.

I could live with Lee-Leng's animation...if it weren't for the fact that he looks like a 12 year old little boy when he's SHOCKED!!! Carl....meh didn't show enough of him this eppy for me to complain...yet.

- Kajika now looks more girly.

WHY!? Of all people why did you have to make our only tough female look like your stereotypic helpless girl!? WHY WHY WHY!!!?? ARG!!! T___T

And like everyone else...she looks like FAIL when shocked.

Ok now the Opening and Ending...

The songs were the same, but instead of doing Kajika sleeping in flowers (naked) they put her in a bed with sheet covering her....>___>

Apparently this director seems to think the viewers can't handle it. Now the rest of the opening wasen't bad but, what bugged me was this consitant use of weird flying ribbions and sparkles flowing around the damn screen.

I was distracting and pointless.

The ending theme was kinda...idk. It wasen't bad and I do like having actual scenes with the characters for the ending but..idk what to think of it.

Overall I found it weird how the animation in the ending and opening was better then the actual episode (WTF!?).

During the episode I found out the director likes effects. Thank god their aren't like overly flashy things (...yet). Like during 2 scenes we are given sarkles and bubble things (think Tadamu just dumbed down a bit).

That was ok since it wasen't over used (thankgod).
Another effect I noticed this director likes using are symbolic effects.

There was a scene with Eugene explaining his feeling for Kajika and...

It went showing Eugene catching Kajika as she fell into his arms. Then she merged with him, and it showed Eugene bound by that looks like thorns.

I'm assuming it's to represent his feelings to Kajika and how he's now bound to her.

So over all aside from hoping that the sparkles don't get overused I'm ok with the effects.

Ok done with my rant over the new changes to Hanasakeru. XD
I'm not gonna say anything about the eppy other then KajikaxLumati and KajikaxEugene fans will be happy. ;D

Eppy 26 of HS is well plots gonna be majorly messed up after this. XD

Poor Eugene is now being held captive in the Raginei Place by Quniza and Najayra...

That's not the worst thing though....Qinza ia using Najayra to get closer to the king, and kill him. While Najayra is using Quniza to cure her bordem.

So we have a over twisted/manipulative/loyal killer and a short tempured/easliy bored/cunning princess using one another....NOT GOOD.

Eppy 27 was kinda boring. XD

Only thing interesting was that Lumati actually helped Kajika sneak out of the house so she could go to Raginei to help Eugene (he's really not helping his chances if he keeps giving them to his rivals! XD).

28 Looks good! Shootings at the airport! And Li-leng gets...SHOT!? And ends up in the hospital...o____o

Ep 28 is available RAW. Poor Li-Leng... He protects Kajika from a granate, but gets hurt himself. But the ending is really cute.

^ I know its out raw. XD

I just haven't watched it yet. XD

Me sad...the series is almost done. T___T

And its so damn apparent how its gonna end to. (I knew how it ended before hadn but still).

Eugene is count of the 'marriage game' now...and he knows it (poor Eugene...T_T).

Carl's obviously out when he couldn't even protect Kajika.

And of course...everyone but Lumati knows about what his and kajika's relationship really is...therefore he's out to.

Leaving...Kajika and Li-Ren as the only possible pairing left. Woo for Canon pairings that were obvious from teh start. *rolls eyes* XD

But Lumati gets to become king now! <3

Damn...the series is over now. T_T

I will admit though the ending was good. I was finally happy for all the characters, granted a little sad for the ones who had a harsh reality turned over to them. XD

But the "reunion" between the main pairing was so....stupidly halarious and cheezily over done. XD

They put shoujo sparkles and glitter and rose petals and made it a slow-mo run towards eachother while jumping onto a helicopter. Can you say dramatic much? LMAO! XD
