Shonen or Shojo?

Just wondering which you all like best~ I'm more of a shonen person myself, but there are some really good shojo anime and manga out there. : ) So I kinda like a mix of both.

I'm both. xD

I like Shoujo for it's usually cute and funny moments, and drama. However the problem with it is that it's usually to stereotypical.

I like Shounen for its action and adventure. But it's problem is that it usualy goes for WAY to long, and just gets milked for all its worth, and usually moves away from the plot.

I like both. So, my solution: SEINEN!!!

Seinen > Shounen > Shoujo for me. I need my fight scenes and wouldn't notice a lack of romance.

Loves me some seinen.

Why is that not an option?

Shonen. Shojo is too sappy for me I guess. The stereotypical art style for shojo bothers me too. Plus the genres I've seen associated with shojo are other genres I don't like. Such as slice of life, school life, romance, etc. I'm not saying those are the only genres.
Shonen can take a wider variety and I find myself becoming more emotional after some scenes in a shonen than I have with drama scenes in shojo.
