It's been announced that NIS America has lisenced Kimi ni Todoke's anime~ <33

Now since its NIS America, that means it will be a subbed only release, but who gives a care? I just want it on my shelf!!

@Gilbert: I Read that, I'm bolth happy and sad

Sad that it will never be dubbed most likely (I wanted to see what a dub would sound like on this)

But also very happy that it's NIS and seeing how they take good care when making DVD's I'm glad

I wonder why other compinies didn't lisence it? It's been becomeing a popular show ever seince the second season started airing. It would have seemed like a good choice for other compinies to try and get the rights for it. Oh well at least the DVD's are coming out soon ~

@Kon

I'll admit I would have liked to have seen a dub for this series too. However I have noticed that Shoujo shows usually do not take top priority in lisencing. It's getting better for that genre, but they are still behind Shounen, Seien and various others.

But I'm willing to live with a subbed only release. XD

(Now if they ever decide to go back and re-dub PH I will be pissed because it cost me $70 per box set for subs only up here in Canada. No matter how much I want a dub for the show its not worth it when I paied almost $140 for the entire series subbed only.)
