| I need help on this Story told by Jack, and I kinda need help on it too, I'm confuse too. :l- Spoiler:
One thing has been bugging me for a while. In the latest chapter Isla Yura and those who are with him said that the abyss would bring them salvation and that the tragedy lay in the fact that the entire world had not been led into the abyss. My question is why is Isla Yura a big fan of Jack Vessalius? Jack is the one who tried to stop the tragedy by fighting with Glen.
My theories: The first one: Isla Yura lies, he doesn’t want to reenact the tragedy, he only wants to force Jack to come out, because he is his fan.
The second theory: Isla Yura lies about being a fan of Jack, his real intention is to reenact the tragedy, he only pretended to be a fan of Jack to dull Oz and everyone else’s vigilance.
Last but by no means least theory: What do we know about the tragedy, it seems that Vincent opened the gate, but did he really? So far we haven’t seen him to do it, he is convinced that he did it, but maybe he had been deceived by Miranda or brainwashed like his brother. It possible that, for example: Miranda had told him something that was totally useless and could not work, Vincent did as he was told and it happened that the whole city sank into the abyss not long after his actions, so he believes that he is responsible for it. It is possible that Vincent and along with him the reader is misled into thinking that he, Vincent, is responsible. What if someone else is responsible, what if Jack is responsible? Think about it. In this theory Isle Yura doesn’t lie, he somehow figured out that Jack is the one who sank the whole city into the abyss and because of his bizarre views he becomes a big fan of Jack, as he believes that Jack’s action has brought salvation to the people who were thrown into the abyss.
This theory, if it’s true, raises another question. Why did Jack open the gate to the abyss? This is something I cannot explain, but in the manga there is so little information about him that maybe there is something that we still don’t know about him.

| hmmmm....Interesting
Personally my theory with Yura on the tragedy is that he was just going along for the ride. While being huge fan of jack, he was only reacting the tragedy because others thought it would be a salvation, not himself necessarily. I believe he stated that fact to oz right before he killed him (I cant think of which chapter it was DX).
As for why the abyss is a salvation is beyond me. My guess is that before it lacie came around it was...well paradise? Glen said that lacie had to make a sacrifice to the abyss, and perhaps Glen's sorrow tore the abyss to the "broken" state. I get the feeling however that more than one person will want to restore that paradise....so we can only wait for the next chapter. | |

| @Alice: Hmmmm.....you brought up some REALLY good points there o.o First off, your 3rd point makes a lot of sense. but yeah, about Jack's motive.....perhaps it has something to do with the Will? o.o | |

| For me, the Tragedy....it have lots and lots of connections to different characters. Almost every character is connected to it. I have some hunches though... That the Tragedy was somehow created to destroy those who oppose Glen IMO, and it's not just the reason for reviving Lacie. | |

| See, for some reason. I think he's only trying to act out on Oz that he's a fan of Jack, to try to bring him out and kill him. Otherwise, Kill Oz too. The Will of Abyss had to do something about that, but I can never seek the truth. The Tragedy does have a lot of sequences about, and every each living role in Pandora Hearts. But, That particular case makes a more twisting scene than before.
-----------------------------------------------------
Then on, I think Yura is a spy for Glenn, and he wanting to found out about what the Four Dukedoms are planning to do. So, that Glenn can think ahead of the others, and set the Tragedy against them again, trying to destroy each and every living thing, and then capturing the four doors of the key to the Intention of the Abyss. Capturing her and controlling everything. Isn't that's why that everyone says that Oz is the Key to the Abyss? Because Jack is inside of him? Hmm? I recommend that, but that's my theory on this chaos. | |

| Isla Yura maybe a fan of Jack, he wants to reenact the tragedy so Jack would come out and also if He doesn't he would just continue with it. ----------------------------------------------------------------- The abyss being salvation is possibly because of the power of the Will of the Abyss since she can grant wishes. Maybe Glen knew this and he is going to use it for Lacie and along the way he grew mad and maybe he saw something within the four great dukedoms that he despised thus he will use the power of the Will of the Abyss to ensue his will. Glen knowing that the Will of the Abyss can grant wishes is a possibility since if Xerxes Break knew how couldn't he know.
The abyss may also mean salvation since maybe as well that they don't age there but obviously they will die soon enough.

| @ Alice Bloody Black Rabbit: I think your last theory is a really good theory! Stick to it, you may have a point, a very good one maybe. Personally, I believe Jack isn’t the hero that everyone seems to believe he is, my theory is that he is an unorthodox type of hero (I think he was Alice’s murderer), but, now that you raise that possibility, he might not be a hero at all… Seemingly immaculate anime characters usually reveal themselves to be pretty dirty in the end, so… who knows? | |
