So, Deadman Wonderland is adapted from the manga of the same name, and it's about Japan's only private prison and amusement park, the carnival-themed Deadman Wonderland, where the inmates work and put on shows for the masses. Deadman Wonderland is situated in the heart of what was Tokyo until a strange, powerful earthquake sank the majority of the city. Igarashi Ganta had been a citizen of Tokyo at the time, and he survived, moving to another city and starting a new life. Ten years later, his class is massacred by a strange being in red armor, and he is the only suspect. He lands in Deadman Wonderland, and learns that, in order to survive, he must follow the prison's rules, but in order to live, he must play by his own.
Basically, it's just pure awesome. There's blood, and mystery, and girls in tight bodysuits, and... it's so awesome that PrussiaxPrussia selfcest is forced to concede awesomeness to it. As of right now, only 8 episodes are fansubbed, and, on Anime Season, at least, they come out on Saturdays.
I've got to say, Yoh is my favorite character. He goes between being so awesome and so funny... Oh, the magic muscles everyone gets at random is amusing, too. One minute they'll be small and frail, the next they'll be amazingly ripped... then they'll go back to being wimpy again. It's mind boggling.

Ohhh, I haven't seen this but my friend keeps talking about how good the series is so it's on my watchlist \o/. I'm just waiting for all the episodes to air so when I come to watching it I don't have to wait for any episodes. :3

Well I've watched all the episodes today and I must say it's a really interesting anime. I really like all the gore, lolol. I think 12 episodes is waaay too short... The ending for the last episode just screams sequel!

I agree. Episode 12 seemed WAYYY to short, and left us with such a huge opening ending the like you said "SCREAMS SEQUAL". XD
I felt kinda deflated at the end of the episodes I ended up going "...Is that all? WTF!?" o_O

I though that the last episode would show that Shiro would show to Ganta that she is the Red Man, but then that would have crammed it so I hope there will be a second season! I really want to know if Ganta will ever find out the Shiro is the Red Man.

Guys... I dunno if you've read the manga, but there isn't enough manga out right now for them to have gone any further XD I think there are 6 or 7 volumes, and they went right through volume 5. I guess they're staying true to the manga, because it pretty much directly lines up.
The good news is: It's not going to be a Host Club ending. The bad news is: we only get 12 episodes (and not NEARLY enough Mockingbird!!)
