Oh I know! I don't see how she can be gone forever though. After all, there's still Break's promise to the Will of Abyss to save Alice. Typically in a story there's a point where it all seems hopeless but the protagonist(s) finds a way to attain his/her goal. So I'm still holding out hope for a happy ending.

Yeah hopefully Alice isn't gone forever and returns in the chapters to come. As for Break, who else thinks he faked his death using March Hare (That's what the note he delivered to Reim said)
On another note I am rather curious to see how Break fulfills the Will of the Abyss wish. Perhaps he himself will become the next will of the abyss and fix time so that we can have a happy ending...

does make you think but i defo got a bad feeling where this is going with break maybe he will scafise himself or something to bring alice back hm it's really hard to tell and i hope gil and oz can make up again some how

@TwilightKat Interesting ideas! I wonder how Break would use someone else's chain though? Although I'd sure Mochizuki-sensei could come up with an explanation.

@Xerxes I do think that the recent scene between Gil and Oz was too short and think they need to have a long talk at some point.

Wonder what happened to Oz's wound that Gil gave him?

Also we still haven't seen Sheryl's owl chain, and I am curious if Ada has a chain. And I need to see Ada do something, like try to save Vincent.

I do not think that Break died; pretty sure that he just got captured in a cell like Oz did.

Ok I'm going to ask a stupid question. I kind of started reading this like last week and just caught up to it, but at some times I kind of read too fast. ^.^"
Why did Alice disappear?

@Will of the Abyss Why did Alice disappear? Perhaps because she is a chain, and chains can be dismissed when they aren't needed. Whether or not that is the case, all along Oz has been getting stronger and Alice weaker, at least as far as B-Rabbit's powers are concerned. It is also possible that it was Jack's plan all along to try to get her out of the way, as she has stood in the way of his plans before (like when she killed herself to prevent Will of Abyss from coming to this world a chapter or two ago). I think she will be back though! She can't just disappear like that and never return.

I am guessing it is due to Jack as he even tells her that she should disappear earlier.

I will be interested to see how Oz gets out of this situation.
However, I think the next chapter will deal with some flashbacks with Zai.

I think it's also pretty clear we are going to see another side to Uncle Oscar soon. The flashback chapter where he got angry and struck Oz was a hint of that.

Yup, for sure we will learn more about Oz's family.

I don't think that Break is dead...he's tied up, you don't tie up people who are dead.

If they ended up killing off Break; I would be really mad. I doubt that would happen though.

I don't think Break died, maybe he is near death because of probably using Mad Hatter and his injuries from fighting Duke Barma, and so far he is chained and imprisoned, hopefully he is not immured or anything.

Looking forward to the Vessalius family reunion, hopefully Zai will tell Oscar what he did when his son was born.

I cannot wait until the next chapter comes out XD

If Break was dead then they wouldn't bother with chaining him up and keeping him prisoner besides he is too big of a character to have an "off screen" death.
I hope we see Gilbert in the new chapter, I'd like to see how he is adjusting to having his old master back, maybe some thoughts about what he did to Oz.
Would be good to see the state of things now with Pandora under Baskerville control and the Vessalius name basically tarnished.

Yes, it will be interesting to see how things go between Gil and Oz after that incident.
