Waaaaiiiiiit a sec, if part of Break's purpose was to protect Alice, then surely he would be a bit more careful with her throughout the series..? Like at the beginning when he was swatting her about with his sword, he's not really sticking to the guidelines of the wish, is he..? o.O and also sending her out on those missions by herself...

It's been so long since I last visited the forum and wow T__T. I sure have missed out so many things ;____;

This chapter sure is mind-blowing. Leo's past revealed, Baskerville's purpose revealed, Break's promise also revealed. Loads of information ~ And I have to agree that the new Leo is so different that he might as well be a completely different character ~ (Love both Leo though ~) Gonna think of more things to post because right now, my mind's blank.

I'm wondering, is Fallen Syndicate going to work on the Chinese raw scans or wait for the Japanese raw scans? Because seems like there's an extra illustration page that is not included in the Chinese scan and seriously it would be a waste not to have that page ;___;

Actually guys, I'm done typesetting the entire chapter. We're now waiting for the QCer to check the chapter for spell fails and/or SFX fails
One of our staff provided the Japanese raws that's why we are able to work on the chapter~

Okay, so this makes more sense now. Alyss doesn't want to be destroyed, per se, she just doesn't want to be the WotA anymore. That makes sense with how I always thought the series would end: restoring sanity to Alyss and uniting her with Alice to live as a human.

AWESOME "Break" pun!!

So the Tragedy of Sablier was an attempt to destroy Alyss but it was interrupted. I guess that explains why she started convulsing on the floor when it happened. And Leo wants to free Glen's soul in order to ask him about Sablier and how to destroy Alyss. Makes sense.

I really don't think repeating a massacre is "the only way" to bring order back to the Abyss, though, Leo. Alice and Oz/Jack can do it on their own. Jack broke it, and he/Oz can fix it, given that ALyss' sanity hangs on her relationship with him. And then she can harmonize her split personality back into a single human Alice.* Break can help. He's the only one who can approach Alyss without her freaking out.

Such a great chapter!!

*Although, Alyss and Alice used to share one body during Alice's life 100 years ago, and that was kinda unstable. I guess then they can just harmonize Alyss back to sanity, separate her from influencing the Abyss, and then direct her to incarnate as another human. I dunno... XD

Yeah, this chapter cleared up a lot of questions. I'll probably re-read some chapters and fit the pieces together! Yay. XD

But anyway I really loved the coloured pages, and the preview for the 2012 calender looks beautiful *biased* XD. It was nice knowing more about Leo and his past, he was so adorable when he was younger. But I find it quite sad that his mother decided to let his bangs grow to cover his eyes, it's like she was embarrassed that Leo could hear/see such things.

So in a way the Baskerville's have always been the good guys and Pandora has been the bad guys? XD

Yeah, this was a wonderful chapter for Leo. It brilliantly tied up some loose ends with by going back to Elliot's comments about writing Lacie and about Leo not feeling well at Yura's party. I'm always impressed at Jun's attention to detail with such things, but I'm not sure the implications of them. Was it suggesting that Elliot was losing memory because of Humpty Dumpty? Mis-remembering things? Everyone thought there was something wrong with Leo, but he was the one who knew and remembered things right. That must've been such a confusing experience... wondering if he was the one going crazy or everyone else was.

I agree with the Baskerville's goal (although I think Oz and Alice can accomplish it without bloodshed), but I also think it's like Oz said... there's no good guys or bad guys, just the wills of individuals.

I also love Lottie's shocked expression upon seeing Leo. She must've realized that she attacked Leo and Elliot at the school and at the Sablier time warp, and attacking Glen is so utterly unthinkable to her. XD
